Want The Hamster Life? Have It Now At This Hotel…

Hamster Villa

Okay, so I have heard some crazy things in my time when it comes to traveling but I never – ever thought that I would hear about people staying at a hotel that makes you become and life the hamster life.  In my world, I go on vacation to get away from the constant wheel, but here, that is one of the amenities that this French hotel offers up.

This hotel is located in Nantes and is called the Hamster Villa.  It actually allows their guests to sleep in beds of hay dine on some grains and drink from a hamster water fountain – this is certainly the way to appreciate the way a hamster lives!

You also will be getting wi-fi as well as a TV for the human in you and you get it all for about $150.00 per room per night … what a deal!

Places to See in Cairo: 1

cairo 1Believe it or not, Cairo is one of those places that should really be on everyone’s must see list of travel destinations. It is rather like a Russian nesting doll, in that there is a succession of magical worlds to discover, many nestled within another and another. Cairo is charming, it contradicts itself; it is beautiful, noisy, crowded, and mysterious. It is everything you would expect from a place that is seven thousand years old.

Central Cairo is a particular must see, although it is still fairly young. There are museums, theatres, art galleries, and much, much more.

For a taste of history, Old Cairo is absolutely necessary. It is the link connecting the Islamic period with the Pharaonic period.

Traveling Tips When You’re Abroad: 1

travel 1Traveling abroad can be the experience of a lifetime — but you have to be careful when you are doing it. You have to be prepared. There are some easy steps you can take to help you do that.

For instance, it is always a good idea to register with the State Department, just in case of an emergency. The State Department can get in contact with you if something goes wrong back home or if you have problems while you are traveling.

You need to make sure that your passport is entirely in order as well. Make sure it is signed and that all the sections for emergency information are filled out. You also need to find out whether or not you will need a visa while you are traveling.

Also concerning your passport, make sure that you leave copies of its data page as well as your itinerary with members of your family and your friends.
