I know for sure that whenever I go on vacation – I want to have all of the fun that I can have.  What happens though if you happen to get sick while you are on vacation?  Well, I have some tips and tricks in mind for you to do when you are sick on vacation.

One of the first things is making sure that you check all of your bags.  That keeps yourself free of any things that you have to haul up and down the hallways and onto the plane and it can also save you a heck of a lot of energy, as hauling bags can be difficult.

Next, make sure that you let any of the flight attendants to know.  That way, they know to try to keep any seats near you clear and they will get you anything you want.

If you are paying attention to your calendar, you know that Fat Tuesday is just about four or five weeks away and if you are looking to plan a trip out to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, you might want to hold off on it and check out National Geographic Traveler.

Typically, Mardi Gras has always taken place right in the French Quarter, however this year – it is a different story.  The awesome celebration is actually going to be taken place in the neighborhoods of New Orleans, so that all of the people that live there can truly take advantage of the Mardi Gras celebration.

New Orleans is a unique and different place – and one that everyone should visit in their lifetime at least once.

When you think about it, what is the best place in the world to be when it is Halloween?  Well – a haunted house, if you can’t be in a haunted house specifically, what about a haunted B&B?  That is my thought and in the last post, we explored on of the top B&B’s that is haunted and now, we are going to tale a look at another one nestled in Valparaiso, IN!

The Inn at Aberdeen is actually the Inn that is featured in the book Haunted Hoosier trails.  There are so many different ghosts tucked away in this one – this one inn, it truly is amazing.  Guests have reported seeing a little girl ghost that has been known to mess with the guest’s stuff.  This little girl ghost also has been known to turn on the fireplace in their rooms.

The Indiana ghost trackers investigated this particular inn and reported that the original owners died with her two children.  Imagine – a haunted inn on Halloween, what could be better?

Egypt is one of those places that my grandmother always wanted to go when she was around – I just lost her in March and I have to say that Egypt is still going to be a passion of mine.  Egypt vacations are something that are so unique and different and there is so much that you can do that I swear that you have never done before.  For example – a camel is something that you can ride in Egypt and while they might spit at you, they are still one animal that not many people get close to, much less ride.

Some of the beautiful sites to see in Egypt are breathtaking – like the pyramids.  I have to say that, those are something that I can not wait to see – ever.  Egypt is the only place that has them and the only place that you can truly get the feel for how Egyptian’s live and feel every day of their life.

Egypt is also hot – so make sure that you drink plenty of water and bring shorts with you, because the heat can get you – it is after all, all about the desert over that!

Finding the perfect and ideal vacation spot for you and your family can honestly be one of the hardest things in the world for you to choose, however, have you ever been to Canada?  Specifically to Vancouver Island?  Well, if you haven’t, you should absolutely take a trip there!  There are a ton of different things to see, feel, and experience all over the place and Vancouver Island is definitely the perfect place for families and couples alike!

For example, if you have never been on a whale watching tour, you should absolutely take a look at Vancouver Island whale watching tours!  This is a fantastic way to ensure that you see all of the whales of their beautiful oceans and honestly, you can enjoy a tour at sea!

Another sight that you need to see is the Butchart Gardens.  These incredible gardens are breathtakingly beautiful and they are open daily!  However, you want to make sure that you go in peak time … in the spring!
