How To Deal With Airlines Raising Their Surcharge Fees!

suitcase-money

We all know that the airlines are getting completely out of control when it comes to their surcharges.  Not only are they constantly raising them up but the price to check a bag is absolutely ridiculous.  If you are a frequent traveler, I can probably already see that you are fuming over the raising of the surcharges, but I can tell you that there are ways that you can deal with them.

That is what we are going to talk about right here!  One of the first things that you want to do is set up email fare alerts for destinations that you are planning to visit.  You need to be flexible with your dates though as that is key to finding the best rate.

Next, shop around – do not just look on the airline’s website, there are a ton of other websites out there that can really make you save some money, so keep your eyes peeled.

Want The Hamster Life? Have It Now At This Hotel…

Hamster Villa

Okay, so I have heard some crazy things in my time when it comes to traveling but I never – ever thought that I would hear about people staying at a hotel that makes you become and life the hamster life.  In my world, I go on vacation to get away from the constant wheel, but here, that is one of the amenities that this French hotel offers up.

This hotel is located in Nantes and is called the Hamster Villa.  It actually allows their guests to sleep in beds of hay dine on some grains and drink from a hamster water fountain – this is certainly the way to appreciate the way a hamster lives!

You also will be getting wi-fi as well as a TV for the human in you and you get it all for about $150.00 per room per night … what a deal!

Places to See in Cairo: 2

cairo 2Islamic Cairo may be a misnomer, as the area is not particularly Islamic, at least no more than the other areas of Cairo, but it is fascinating. It is culturally and historically rich. The Citadel is there, as well as the Khan el Khalili bazaar, the Al Azhar Mosque, the Gayer Anderson Museum, as well as the Cities of the Dead.

A trip to Cairo would not be complete without a visit to Giza either. It is considered technically separate from the city, but the two are deeply linked. If only for the pyramids, a journey there should not be avoided.
